Adventure is waiting our youngest campers! Come and learn to swim, drive a go-cart, or shoot an arrow, along with a host of other fun and adventurous options. We invite your campers to spend a week (or even 2 weeks) full of fun, laughter, singing and worship programs designed just for them. During these 4 weeks of camp, campers will have the opportunity to experience all that camp has to offer this age group. Our caring staff is here to create a safe and memorable experience for our youngest adventurers and we are certain they will expand their horizon’s during their time at camp.

**Cub campers will spend their days rotating through their specific activities along with their counselors and cabin mates. This allows for this age group to enjoy their time at camp, sometimes for their first time away from home, while under close supervision from a camp staff.

Each age group will stay in their own cabins and have activities separate, but still come together to share meals and program times. Campers can register for multiple weeks of camp including specialty camps! (upon availability). No need to send tons of clothes as laundry service is provided for stay-over campers.

The small class size allows for you to be instructed according to your own experience and comfort level.

Cowgirl Adventure (Ages 13-17)

Do you have a horse crazy girl at home? Camp Blue Ridge is taking Horsemanship Camp to a new level! This adventure is a cowgirl’s dream come true! Pull up those bootstraps and get ready for an experience your camper will never forget! Cowgirls will eat, sleep and breathe horses as they create a relationship with their “own” horse and learn the basics of horse care and riding technique. Campers will see the beauty of Camp Blue Ridge from the backs of their horses and enjoy getting to know Jesus through this special relationship! Cowgirls will also have the opportunity to enjoy some of CBR’s traditional activities such as swimming and go-carts. This week is jam-packed with fun, activities, and God’s magnificent creature – the horse. This camp is a 7 day, overnight camp at Camp Blue Ridge. Tack, helmets, and horses are provided to the campers. Campers should pack extra pairs of riding jeans, closed toed shoes, and comfortable shirts / riding attire. Due to limited space and equine partners available, this camp is females only.

Pioneer Adventure (Ages 13-17)

Pioneer Adventure Camp delivers even more of what your camper loves with all-new, outdoor adventures! Campers will have the opportunity to experience how pioneers lived and survived in authentic pioneer cabins. They will learn open fire Dutch oven cooking skills, archery, edible wild plants and many other basic pioneer skills. Pioneer adventure campers will enjoy hiking to an overnight campsite under the stars and learning about a life of faith in the midst of God’s creation! Campers make the most of their week in Camp Blue Ridge’s spectacular mountain setting.
